Adeola Akinrinmade (Executive Director, Finance)

Mrs. Akinrinmade career spans over two decades, distinguished by her extensive executive, operational, and financial management expertise acquired in the upstream oil & gas sector, telecommunications and professional services in roles which cut across strategy development, supply chain management, organisational development, legal affairs and human resources. She was instrumental in establishing robust financial reporting, project accounting, and tax structures at Afren Plc and First Hydrocarbon Nigeria (FHN), where she supported a major $147.5 million acquisition and facilitated significant private equity and banking investments resulting in a 550% capital gain for the initial investors within three years.

She has also spearheaded the provision of insurance policies with transaction values of $250 million, overcoming industry and country risk-related challenges related to assets in West Africa’s Upstream Oil & Gas sector. She previously served as Chief Operations Officer for Petralon’s Dawes Island Field, where she oversaw the field’s first drilling operations and technical evaluations, culminating in successful production milestones. An esteemed Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria and a licensed Human Resource Professional by the Chartered Institute of Personnel Management (CIPM), Mrs. Akinrinmade holds a Bachelor of Science (Honors) in Accounting from Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife.
