Adeola Akinrinmade (Executive Director, Finance)

Mrs. Akinrinmade has over 20 years’ experience in finance, project accounting and auditing, with a strong track record in Oil & Gas. She worked at First Hydrocarbon Nigeria, from its inception, as the Finance Manager, and was responsible for the finance, project accounting and contracts & procurement functions.  Mrs. Akinrinmade was on the OPCOM board for the Joint Venture Operation of the OML 26 producing asset. Prior to joining First Hydrocarbon Nigeria, she was the pioneer management and business analyst and later Senior Project Accountant, with Afren Energy Services Limited. 

Mrs. Akinrinmade has also at different times led crude handling and reporting departments in restructuring CHA agreements and processes leading to recovery of significant tariff revenue on pipeline assets. She has had extensive experience actively managing cost and revenue reporting / forecasting for various oil and gas assets, reviewing and verifying reconciliation of production numbers and pipeline revenue, in addition to developing cost effective contracting structures, for such assets as OML 26, OML 30, OML 113, OML 115, OPL 310 and more recently with Petralon, on the Dawes Island Marginal Field. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Accounting from Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife and is a fellow of the Instituted of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN). She is also a member of the Chartered Institute of Personnel Management (CIPM).
