Aigboje Aig-Imoukhuede (Non-Executive Director)

Mr. Imoukhuede is the Founder and Chairman of Coronation Capital – a private equity and propriety investment firm targeting the financial services, technology solutions, consumer goods & services, oil & gas and real estate sectors in Sub-Saharan Africa, operating out of Mauritius. He is also the Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Financial Markets Dealers Association, the Co-Chairman of the UK-Nigeria Capital Market Task Force and a past President of the National Council of the Nigerian Stock Exchange. 

Until his retirement in 2013, he was the Group Managing Director/CEO of Access Bank Plc. His distinguished banking career spanned 25 years of which 10 were spent with Guaranty Trust Bank Plc, where he resigned as Executive Director in 2002 to lead the Access Bank transformation team, eventually transforming it into one of the largest Banks in Nigeria. Mr. Aig-Imoukhuede is the recipient of several awards and national honours including African Banker of the Year (African Banker), West African Entrepreneur of the Year (Ernst & Young) and Commander of the Order of the Niger (CON). He holds a Trium Global EMBA from the London School of Economics, NYU Stern Business School and HEC Paris, an LLB degree from the University of Benin and a BL from the Nigerian Law School.
