Aigboje Aig-Imoukhuede (Non-Executive Director)

Mr. Aig-Imoukhuede is currently Chairman of Access Holdings Plc and was previously Group Managing Director of Access Bank Plc, leading its transformation into one of the largest banks in Nigeria. He is also the Founder and Chairman of Coronation Capital – a private equity and propriety investment firm targeting the financial services, technology solutions, consumer goods & services, oil gas and real estate sectors in Sub Saharan Africa.

Mr. Aig-Imoukhuede was recently appointed as the President of the France Nigeria Business Council and is on the Board of the Kings Trust International, which was founded in 2015 by His Majesty King Charles III to tackle the global crisis of youth unemployment and support young people worldwide. He is the founding Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Financial Markets Dealers Association and a past President of the Nigerian Stock Exchange. Mr. Aig-Imoukhuede is also the Chairman and Co-Founder of the Aig-Imoukhuede Foundation, through which his family’s philanthropic initiatives in the areas of governance, advocacy and capacity building for the public service, health and education are pursued. He was appointed a member of Oxford University’s Blavatnik School of Government International Advisory Board in 2017 and his contributions towards universal health care for all Africans led to his appointment in 2011 as the first African Co-Chairman of the New York- based GBC Health, a private sector coalition against HIV, malaria and tuberculosis.

He holds a Trium Global EMBA from the London School of Economics, NYU Stern Business School and HEC Paris, an LLB degree from the University of Benin and a BL from the Nigerian Law School.
