Petralon Energy is an African exploration and production company committed to defining Africa’s energy story through responsible growth, operational excellence, and local ownership. We develop, finance, and operate oil and gas assets.

At the core of our operations is the Dawes Island Field (PPL 259), an asset dormant for nearly two decades, now producing through our deliberate investment and technical capability.
Since assuming operatorship, we have revived the field and successfully spudded three wells. Our portfolio further includes a 4.42% equity interests in Meren Energy, which holds stakes in some of Africa’s most prolific producing fields: Agbami, Akpo, and Egina.

Beyond production, we are committed to redefining how oil companies engage with their host communities. Our community initiatives notably the Host Community Development Trusts (HCDTs) in Rivers State to our Future Leaders Program reflect a simple philosophy: growth must create value not only for shareholders, but for the people and regions that power our operations.

Each milestone we reach takes us a step closer to our 2030 ambition, which is to scale production beyond 15,000 barrels per day, build sustainable partnerships across the African energy sector, and serve as a model of indigenous excellence operating at world-class standards.
