The Corporate Communications Manager will drive the development and execution of Petralon Energy’s communications strategy covering internal, external, and digital communications to strengthen the company’s brand, reputation, and stakeholder engagement. The role requires an individual with experience in communications within the energy or oil & gas sector, capable of translating technical and corporate messages into clear, engaging narratives for multiple audiences.‍

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Lead the development and implementation of integrated communications strategies to strengthen brand positioning and stakeholder engagement.
  • Own and drive annual communications planning, aligned to the strategic priorities and milestones of the business for the year.
  • Serve as a communications advisor to management, supporting message development for key engagements, speeches, and stakeholder interactions.
  • Coordinate all corporate content, including press releases, articles, newsletters, thought leadership pieces, and digital content that align with brand tone and business objectives.
  • Identify, evaluate, and coordinate strategic events, sponsorships, and speaking opportunities to enhance brand visibility and industry positioning.
  • Manage media relations and maintain strategic relationships with journalists, industry media, and key stakeholders.
  • Monitor and report on media coverage, brand sentiment, online engagement metrics, and communications performance to inform strategy and demonstrate impact.
  • Monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and regulatory developments in the energy sector to inform communications strategy and identify opportunities for thought leadership.
  • Support crisis communication planning and response efforts across all communication channels.
  • Collaborate with Petralon’s communications agency and external vendors to deliver campaigns, manage project timelines, and ensure quality output across all deliverables.
  • Drive internal communications initiatives that foster alignment with company culture, values, and strategic priorities.

Key Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Mass Communication, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years experience in corporate communications, PR, or media relations (preferably in oil & gas, energy, or related industries).
  • Proven ability to develop and execute strategic communications plans.
  • Strong writing, storytelling, and editing skills.
  • Good understanding of both digital and traditional media ecosystems.
  • Data-driven and analytical approach to measuring communication impact.
  • Demonstrated experience managing multiple stakeholders, vendors, and agency relationships.
